Some love stories begin with love at first sight. Ironically, our love story began with two people who once couldn’t stand each other. We were just classmates in ATKP. Never thought our paths would cross again—much less fall in love. Life took us on separate journeys before bringing us back together at exactly the right time, when we had both let go of our pasts. In that unexpected reunion, we found not only each other, but also the love we had been unknowingly waiting for all along.

From the moment we chose each other, we made a promise to pursue a future together. We never expected the journey to take nearly three years, but every step, every challenge, every distance, and every season brought us closer to this day. Now, we’re ready to begin our journey together in seeking Allah’s blessings—creating a home, building a family, and spending a lifetime side by side.

On Saturday, June 20, Ahmad took a heartfelt step toward our future by bringing his family to visit mine. Even though I wasn’t able to be there, he met my extended family, expressed his sincere commitment, and respectfully asked my parents for their blessing to marry me. It was a beautiful moment that marked the beginning of our families becoming one.
